The 10 Levels of Growth

MindPsych uses a separate 10-level framework to help you reflect on how personality patterns may be showing up right now. It is an assessment snapshot, not XP, an earned rank, or a permanent identity; a retake may move in either direction. The three zones are descriptive product language—not a clinical health scale, diagnosis, or measure of personal worth.

The 3 Zones

The app groups its reflection language into three broad zones. Use them to notice a current pattern, not to rank another person or infer clinical distress.

Unhealthy

Levels 1–3

More reactive or defensive patterns may be taking up attention. If you are in distress, this tool is not a substitute for professional support.

Neutral

Levels 4–6

Functional but on autopilot. Moments of insight mixed with familiar patterns.

Healthy

Levels 7–10

More grounded and self-aware patterns may feel easier to access consistently.

The 10 Levels

Read each description and compare it with your current experience. The full text remains visible without interaction.

1
Survival Mode· Critical

Your answers may reflect intense strain, disconnection, or difficulty accessing your usual supports. Treat this result as a prompt to pause, not a diagnosis. If you feel unsafe or in distress, consider reaching out to a qualified professional or trusted support.

2
Deep Struggle· Very Unhealthy

Your answers may point to defensive or coping patterns that currently feel hard to shift. Naming one recurring pattern and seeking appropriate support can be a practical first step.

3
Under Stress· Unhealthy

Sustained pressure may be narrowing your options or making reactive, defensive, or withdrawn responses more likely. Notice where one small pause or source of support could create room.

4
Coping· Below Average

You may be managing daily demands while relying on familiar automatic patterns. Small experiments in awareness can help you decide which habits still serve you.

5
Average· Average

Your answers suggest a mix of useful strengths and familiar blind spots. Reflection here is less about ranking and more about noticing which patterns you want to practice or interrupt.

6
Developing· Above Average

You may be noticing patterns closer to the moment they happen and experimenting with more deliberate responses. Progress can be uneven; consistency matters more than a perfect score.

7
Healthy· Healthy

Your answers may reflect more frequent access to grounded, flexible responses. Continue checking whether those patterns hold across stress, relationships, and changing contexts.

8
Thriving· Very Healthy

You may be finding it easier to recover from pressure, use your strengths deliberately, and stay open to feedback. Treat this as a snapshot rather than a permanent status.

9
Flourishing· Flourishing

Your answers may reflect sustained self-awareness and values-aligned action in several areas. Keep making room for limits, repair, and perspectives that challenge your own.

10
Self-Actualized· Peak Expression

Your answers may reflect unusually consistent access to flexible, compassionate, and intentional responses right now. No level represents perfection, and future circumstances can change how patterns show up.
