MBTI × Enneagram
Personality type combinations
MBTI describes how someone tends to process information. The Enneagram describes what tends to motivate them underneath. Read together, the two explain patterns neither covers alone — which is why two people with the same MBTI type can behave so differently.
How to read these
What a combination page covers
Each page sets out how that combination tends to think, what appears to drive it, where its strengths and blind spots usually show up, and what its relationships, work preferences and growth edges often look like.
These are interpretive frameworks rather than clinical instruments, so the language stays deliberately hedged. MindPsych does not diagnose, and no description here should be read as a statement of fact about any particular person.
Intuitive Feeling types
INFJ, INFP, ENFP and ENFJ combinations — meaning-led processing paired with different motivational cores.
- INFJ 4w5Introspective and image-aware, with a pull toward meaning that is both felt and analysed.
- INFJ 9w1Steady and harmonising on the surface, with a quiet internal standard that rarely relaxes.
- INFP 4w5Values-led and inward-facing, with a strong need for what is expressed to be genuinely true.
- INFP 6w7Values-driven and loyal, with an anxious scan for what could go wrong and a pull toward lighter options.
- ENFP 7w6Expansive and idea-hungry, with an underlying loyalty that keeps the enthusiasm anchored.
- ENFJ 2w3Warm, driven, and image-aware, with worth quietly tied to being needed and effective.
Intuitive Thinking types
